You can use the bulletin board to post information that you would like to communicate with other visitors, such as, items for sale, want to buy, looking for, for rent, yard sales, or any thing else you would like to communicate to other visitors. We would ask that people would use responsibility in posting items on the bulletin board. All old and out dated information will be deleted on a regular basis. If you have information on the bulletin board that becomes irrelevant or outdated, such as you sold an item, let us know and we will remove it from the bulletin board.

| The Friends of Greenback Library will be holding a Rummage Sale and
Bean Luncheon Saturday, August 20 in the basement of the Greenback
Community Center. Proceeds will help purchase materials and
equipment for the Greenback Public Library. The rummage sale runs
from 8:00AM until 4:00PM. Merchandise will include household
items, books, videos, knick-knacks, electronics and much more. The
bean luncheon will run from 11:00AM until 3:00PM and includes soup
beans, cornbread, iced tea, dessert and fixin's. Tickets are $5
and children under 3 are free. Please help us support our

Until further notice, we will be having a huge
multi-family yard sale each week, Thursday through Saturday from 9am
until 5PM in the old Williams store building located at the corner
of Browder Hollow Road and Highway 11 in Lenoir City. The building
is just below West Broadway Baptist Church. Numerous household
items, name brand clothing, collectibles, tools, jewelry, and more
will be offered wach week. New Avon products will be available and
on sale as well. Merchandise will be changing daily so stop by
often.

The Greenback Historical Society will host a
homemade ice cream contest on Sat. July 30 at the Greenback
Community Center from 2-4PM. The contest is open to all and
there is no admission fee. The public is invited to attend,
test the frozen confections and vote for their favorite. A
$100 prize will be awarded to the winner. An entry form
must be submitted by July 17. This entry form and other
